Wooohoooo!! this weekend is my birthday and I am so excited!!! and I can't forget about my bffaa either! her birthday is this weekend as well (randomly my friend madelyn said hi!!)
What does it mean to be seventeen:
getting old and being able to see rated R movies alone...whatever I already do that!
A little closer to being 18!!
nothing much is interesting about being 17, its just a number and nothing really is different...
but oh well
Oh hey the season premiere of SMALLVILLE is on today at 8:00pm and I am sooooo siked to see it, but it is so sad that it is the last season they are making.... boo hoo :(

Days of a Senior in High School!!!
Ugh these have been the most dreariest days ever.....honestly there is nothing going on with my life :(
Well just yesterday I went to the mall with my best buds, just walking around checkin out hot dudes and stuff...but nothing happen. I didn't buy anything either because I was broke as hell!!! BUT whatever....because this tuesday is senior pictures and I already have my outfit picked out. Since I can't wear heels to school (BUMMER) I have to settle for flat grey slouchy boots....which will go nicely with my new gray floral lace dress.
Its pretty tight but I love it, since it is pretty cold now-a-days, I'm gonna also wear these cool tights I have that are grey at the top but fade to black on the bottom half.
oh I can not forget to mention that this weekend coming is my birthday and my best friend's birthday too!!! We will both me SEVENTEEN (ugh finally!!)
Mine is on the 26 which is a sunday and hers is on the 25 which is obviously saturday. I have things all planned out.....on friday I will give my bff her present, saturday I am going to call her and scream happy birthday and then that same day I am going to a festival in Massachusetts I think? Then on my actual b-day around 1:00 pm I am spending time with my dad at a sports bar watching the Vikings play against the Detroit Lions!!!! GO BRETT FAVRE!!!!

Good Year So Far....
Well this school year has been going off to a great start!!!! My classes are good, and teachers too! but just seeing my friends again is just great....
PLUS seeing some other interesting (cute) people made my first week of school even better but I won't say anything more...back to the music/fashion topic of today...
MUSIC---
When I am on the bus I like to have a certain setlist of music I like to listen to and probably some songs from people I never heard of before too....but lately its like there isn't a song out there that is satisfying me right now...because I end up deleting it from my playlist and then spending like five minutes deciding which song to listen to :|
So to help me out I want to hear from you guys...which ever part of the world you are from and give me some songs you like listening to and I will be open to listen to anything so email me or post a comment!!! Seriously I'm not kidding so what ever songs you think are worth listening to just tell me!!! :]
FASHION---
Now I know I haven't really gone over anythings relating to fashion but as I go through my daily blog reads in the morning at school I've noticed some maxi skirts, leopard prints and certain styles helping to stay cool but get ready for the Fall. So some music that can go along with inspiring you to wear these items could be:

Ahh school is about to begin....
Recently I have found out that school starts on Monday August 30th...I am very thrilled since it is my last year but I know I'll be missing high school in the years to come...
So yesterday I went to buy some shoes and other school necessities and I am really glad with what I bought...hopefully the first day of senior year doesn't suck and I'm looking forward to what this school year brings.
Oh now for today's musical topic.....Recently I have heard that Rock Band 3 is coming to stores soon and I can't wait to get my hands on it.....there is also some cool new things as well, for example a new instrument like a keyboard... it sounds tricky but I like a challenge
There is one more thing too...for all those experts who play nonstop but don't know how to play a real guitar..now is your chance to learn the game includes a pro level where it teaches you actually play a real guitar but of course you have to purchase that certain guitar that they have created to learn to really play it....
But for certain I am going to get that game!!!! it looks way to cool so everyone you gotta go pre-order it now if you really want it badly....

Florence + The Machine
First of all here is a pic of my new hair color.....right now my hair is curly since it is too much work and heat to straighten it myself
So now to the topic of today...
Florence + The Machine are an amazing band....all week I have been constantly going to youtube to see their music videos. I would have to say that "Dog Days Are Over" and "Cosmic Love" are my faves. The videos are so wild and creative and I have to say I loved her black skin tight body suit with the slits all over. Their songs are just so enchanting and she has a great voice. Now that I finally purchased those two songs on itunes, I just can't stop listening to them....
Some of the songs from the Lungs Album are about violence and death....when they were questioned about this from the NME, the lead singer Florence Welch replied "Well, what other subject is there? I remember realising that my parents were going to die and weeping. Weeping as if my father had actually died."
Pretty sad stuff...their songs are becoming a great hit and I will never stop listening to their music....I guess because sometimes it feels as though you can related to some of the things she sings about.
